Euna Mae Duyck, 86, of Waco, passed away Sunday, February 7, 2021. A Celebration of Life will be 11:00 a.m., Thursday, February 11, at Meadowbrook Baptist Church, 1207 N Old Robinson Rd, Robinson, TX, with Dr. Cary Killough officiating. There will be a visitation from 6 – 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, February 10, at Pecan Grove Funeral Home, 3124 Robinson Drive, Waco. A private burial will be held at a later date.
Mae was born December 13, 1934, in Hope, Arkansas to Frank and Erma Evans. She moved to Waco, TX, in the early 1960’s and met and married David Duyck, Sr., on July 1, 1963. Mae worked for the USDA Cotton Division for over 20 years as a classer and supervisor. She and David owned a used car lot and barbeque take out restaurant, Duck’s Carryout, for many years. While her children were in school, Mae was a PTA President, Girl Scout troop leader, and a volunteer at church; she also sold Avon. She was a member of Lake Shore United Methodist Church.
Mae was preceded in death by her husband; parents; and sons, Richard Adcox and David Duyck, Jr.
She is survived by her daughters, Donna Muhlman and husband Mike, Carolyn Baccus and husband Quenton, and Deanna Henry and husband Dave; sisters, Wincie Cannon and Billie Ehlich; 13 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
