Ernest Castillo

Ernest Lewis Castillo Jr, 55, of Waco, TX, went to be with the Lord on Friday February 4th 2022. A visitation will be held from 6 – 8:00 p.m., Thursday, February 17, at Pecan Grove Funeral Home, 3124 Robinson Drive, Waco.
Ernest was born September 19th of 1966 in Gatesville, TX to Geneva and Ernest Castillo. Ernest is proceeded in death by parents Geneva and Ernest Castillo, as well as brothers, Edward and Michael Ray.
Ernest is survived by his loving wife Mary Castillo; son, Eric Castillo and wife Gabriella, daughters, Erica Castillo, Esperanza Castillo, Chariti Castillo and Angel Castillo. He is also survived by his eight grandchildren, Rayleigh, Marleiyna, Gabbrella, Kayden, Jo’cylene, Malaiya, Nalani and Hazleigh; his sisters, Rosalinda Nunez and Joveida Castillo; brothers, Christopher Michael and Juan Castillo as well as many nephews and nieces.
Ernest was a great husband to his wife and amazing father to his children, but also loved helping raise and advise many family and friends. Ernest was always cracking jokes every chance he had. He loved spending all his time spoiling his grandchildren as well as fishing and cooking for his large family.
We know that we can’t have you but we are at peace knowing that you are at rest now.
