Emma Tankersley, 82, of Hewitt, passed from her mortal life at home surrounded by her loving family, Monday, February 27, 2017. Services will be 2 p.m. Friday, March 3, 2017 at Edwards Funeral Home, 411 S Mulberry St, Eastland, TX, 76448, with J.C. Tankersley officiating. Burial will follow at Eastland City Cemetery. The family receive visitors, from 6-8 p.m., Thursday, March 2, at Pecan Grove Funeral Home 3124 Robinson Dr.
Emma was born the last of six siblings to Henry E. and Emma Cleola “Ola” Reese Wilson, October 19, 1934 in Carbon, Texas. She married J.C. Tankersley in 1960.
Emma was preceded in death by her parents; her siblings and 2 grandsons.
She is survived by her husband; 4 children; 7 grandchildren, 14, great-grandchildren and numerus relatives and friends.
Burial immediately following funeral services at Eastland City Cemetery
Pallbearers will be, Lane Boyd, Ross Peterson, Stephan Koester, Jake Gipson, Cade Sigmon and Andy Livingston.
