Eloise Mae Frazier, 89, of Waco, passed away Monday, May 16, 2016. A graveside service will be 10 am, Thursday, May 19th at Waco Memorial Park, 6623 S Interstate 35, Waco, with Pastor David Cozart officiating. The family will receive visitors 6-8 pm Wednesday, May 18th at Pecan Grove Funeral Home, 3124 Robinson Dr.
Eloise Mae Frazier was born in Dot, Texas on September 21, 1926. She was the daughter of Sam Scott Greer and Ruby Lucille Pryor. Eloise had two sisters, Nadine Johnson and Erin Blancet; as well as two brothers, Sam Scott Greer III and Jerry Reuben (Gatch) Greer. They all preceded her in death. Eloise married John Henry Frazier on November 29, 1944. Together they had one daughter, Brenda Frazier Residori in 1948.
Eloise worked for many years in discount stores around Waco. She worked for Woolsworth Department store as well as Gibson’s Discount Center. Eloise retired after working for J-Hawk Distributing Company at the age of 58. Her husband, John, passed away in 2004, after 60 years of marriage.
Eloise is survived by her daughter, Brenda Residori and husband, Art of Robinson; two grandsons, Brian Residori of Waco, and Brad Residori of Robinson; three great-grandsons, Tyler Residori, Dylan Residori, and Cadyn Residori all of Robinson; six nieces, JoAnn Crocker and husband, Jerry of Temple, Pam Ellis and husband, Danny of Eddy, Linda Schreiber and husband, John of Crosby, Elaine Davis and husband, Kenneth of Lorena, and Susan May of Huntsville; one niece who preceded her in death, Deborah Curtis of Stamford, one nephew, Robert Rodney Blancet and wife, Rose of Stamford; as well as many great-nieces and nephews throughout the State. Also, Nancy Linkous of Waco and Mynda Residori of Hewitt were special people in Eloise’s life.
Eloise enjoyed her many years with her family and friends and will be greatly missed by all. She especially loved cooking for and entertaining her family and friends. Special thanks to friends and employees at Regent Care Woodway, where she lived for several years and was treated with love and kindness.
Pallbearers will be Brian Residori, Brad Residori, Tyler Residori, Dylan Residori, K.D. Davis, and Art Residori. Honorary Pallbearers will be Danny Ellis, John Schreiber, Jerry Crocker, and Cadyn Residori.
