Ellis Wiseman

Ellis “Ajax” Wiseman passed away Sunday February 19, 2017. Funeral services will be 10 am Thurs. Feb 23, 2017 at Rosemound Cemetery, 3201 S 12th St, Waco. The family will receive visitors 5-7pm Wed. Feb. 22 at Pecan Grove Funeral Home, 3124 Robinson Dr. Waco.
Ellis was born Nov. 23, 1946 in Marlin Tx., to parents, Clinton and Erna Wiseman. He had two siblings, Louise Gooch and Edward Jenkins. Everyone called him Ajax. He enjoyed the Heart of Texas Speedway, playing dominos and walking his dogs at the park.
He was preceded by his parents; brother, Edward Jenkins; brother-in-law, Frank Gooch.
He is survived by his sister, Louise Gooch and sister-in-law, Minnie Jenkins; daughter, Paula Free; granddaughter, Christy; wife, Virginia and her children, Rita and Abel; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and his beloved dog, Astro.
