Ella Ortiz

Our loving mother and grandmother, Ella Ortiz, 90, of Bruceville, passed peacefully from this life the morning of March 22, 2017, at Hillcrest Scott and White. Visitation will be at Pecan Grove Funeral Home, 3124 Robinson Drive, Waco, from 6 to 8 PM, Friday, March 24, with rosary beginning at 7 PM. Funeral services will also be at Pecan Grove Funeral Home Chapel at 1 PM, Saturday, March 25. Interment will follow at Mooreville Cemetery.
She was born on September 21, 1926, to Pedro and Juanita Felan. She grew up in the Mooreville area.
Ella was preceded in death by her husband, Fines Ortiz, in August 1998, and daughter, Frances Ortiz, in August 2012. She is survived by her son, Greg Ortiz and wife Maria, and son San Juan Ortiz; grandson Greg Ortiz and wife Lena; grandson Michael and fiancée Courtney, grandson Matthew and wife Stephanie, and grandson Frankie. She was a great-grandmother to two granddaughters, Elayna and Camila.

Pallbearers will be Greg Ortiz, Michael Ortiz, Matthew Sauseda, Rodney DeLeon, Marty Felan, and Paul Edwards.
The family is thankful for all the kind words of sympathy, support, and expressions of love. Ella was a loving mother and grandmother who will be greatly missed.
