Edwin E. Norris Jr., 98, of Waco, passed away Saturday, May 4, 2013, at his residence. Memorial service will be 2 p.m. Friday, May 10, at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 2308 N. Valley Mills Dr., Waco, with Minister Bert Bilton officiating. No other visitation is planned.
Edwin was born Dec. 30, 1914, in Calvert, Texas. He was baptized as a Jehovah's Witness in 1940, spent 14 years as a full-time pioneer minister, and went to Gilead Missionary School training in New York. Edwin was an elder at the Lake Air Congregation. He married Elsie Knight on June 2, 1956, in Waco.
Survivors include his wife, Elsie; and brother, George Norris.
