Edward Scott

Edward Lee Scott, age 83, passed away peacefully on Monday, December 19, 2022 in Arlington, Texas following a traffic accident on November 3rd. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Thursday, December 29 at Pecan Grove Funeral Home, 3124 Robinson Dr., Waco, Texas, with Pastor Victor Franklin officiating. Burial will immediately follow at Robinson Cemetery. There will be a visitation with family two hours prior to services, beginning at 9 a.m.

Edward was born June 13, 1939 in McLennan County to Edward and Anna Belle (Blevins) Scott. He was one of three children. He worked many years as a tire builder at General Tire until he was medically retired. Edward also served in the Marine Corp Reserve Branch for a few years.

He is preceded in death by his parents; his baby brother, Raymond Scott; wife, Betty Sue (Adcock) Scott; and wife, Sandra Jo Scott.

Edward is survived by his wife, Donna (Colyer) Scott; sons, Raymond Scott and wife Darla, Boyce (Bubba) Scott and wife Tammy; stepsons, Ronnie Willis and Glenn Willis; sister, Rita Patrick; fourteen grandchildren; and a host of great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Ray Scott, Bubba Scott, Kevin Scott, Sammy Willis, Ronnie Henkel, and Billy Anthony.
