Gail Simmons went to be with her Lord and Savior Monday, October 20, 2014, at the age of 61. A graveside service will be 11 a.m., Thursday, October 23, at Covington Cemetery in Covington, Texas.
Gail was born January 9, 1953 in Waco to parents John Ernest Jr. and Fay (Sam) Moore. Gail was a sweet and gentle soul who will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved her.
Gail was preceded in death by her father, John Ernest Moore, Jr.
She is survived by her husband, Faron L. Simmons; son, Joey Harvey; two grandsons; four step-children; and four step-grandchildren. Gail also leaves behind to cherish her memory her mother, Fay (Sam) Phillips; brother, John E. Moore, III and wife, Donna; sister, Kay La Rue and husband, Lash; and numerous nieces and nephews.
