Dwain Thomas Caldwell, 85, of Mart, Texas, passed away Saturday, January 22, 2022. A private graveside service will be held at Mart Cemetery.
Dwain was born on April 9, 1936 to Samuel and Opal Caldwell in Mart, Texas and was raised in Mart by his grandparents, Richard and Corrine McGaughy. He worked 37 years for Texas Instruments as an Inventory Analyst. He married to his best friend and love of his life, Lauren DuBroc Caldwell in 1975. He was a dedicated husband, father and grandfather. He loved spending time with his grandson’s and attending all their activities over the years. He enjoyed taking trips to the beach with his wife and grandkids. He had a great love for animals, having many dogs and cats through the years especially his little dog Rowdy. His greatest past time was listening to music “Oldies” on Saturday nights. He was a huge music buff. He will be deeply missed by his friends, family and all who knew him.

Dwain is survived by his daughter, Wendy Whitby and fiancé Quincy Cosby; grandsons, Cody Cobbs and wife Taylor, and Lane Cobbs; sister, Betty Price; brother, Roy Robinson and wife Louise; father-in-law, Mike O’Trupack; sister-in-law, Susan Bigham and husband John; brother-in-law, Mark DuBroc and wife Katie; and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews.
