Doyle Jackson

Doyle Ray Jackson, 78, of Waco TX, passed away Saturday, January 6, 2024. Visitation will be held from 2 – 4:00 p.m., Saturday, January 13, at Pecan Grove Funeral Home, Waco, TX.
Doyle was born July 5, 1945, in Temple, TX, to Delmer and Norma (Camp) Jackson. He enjoyed playing games, especially Yahtzee, word searches, and playing dominoes with his friends. You could always find Doyle outside taking his long walks. He was also a lifelong Dallas Cowboy fan and liked spending time at the drag races. Most of all he loved being with his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Doyle was preceded in death by his parents, Delmer and Norma Jackson, and his brothers, Dwaine Jackson, Homer Jackson, and Wayne Jackson.
He is survived by his daughter, Tammy Jackson; son, Mike Jackson and Michelle Bowman; grandchildren, Breanna Jackson and Tyler Scott, Aireanna Jackson and Darius Brown, and Bachner Bowman; great-grandchildren, Reece Alejandro, Amara Brown, Logan Cowan, and Delaney Grace Scott; and his siblings, Yvonne Campo and husband John, Barbara Hamrick husband Joe, Danny Jackson and wife Debbie; Shirley Whittle and husband Richard, Carolyn Ivy and husband Randy, and Theron Jackson and wife Judy; along with sisters-in-law, Sara Jackson and Regina Jackson.
