Dottie Estelle Fincher, 90, of Robinson, passed away Sunday, June 26, 2016. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m., Thursday, June 30, at Waco Memorial Park Mausoleum, with burial to follow. A visitation will be one hour prior to the service, starting at 10:00 a.m., in the mausoleum.
Dottie was born August 10, 1925, in Quinlan, TX, to Plez and Ira Ethel Calloway Williams. In her younger years she liked to pick a guitar and sing gospel and country songs, while other family members joined with various musical instruments. During her career she was employed by Hill Printing, Library Binding and her final job was working at Spring Valley Elementary cafeteria, where she loved serving and interacting with all the children. She was a loving mother and grandmother and enjoyed flowers and gardening. She loved to travel with her husband and friends and listening to country music.
Dottie was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Luke Kilgore; son, Orval Luke Kilgore; grandson, Aaron Carpenter; three sisters; and two brothers.
Dottie is survived by her husband of 19 years, Leslie Fincher; son, Jerry Kilgore and wife Virginia; step-son, James Fincher; daughter, Diane Carpenter; grandchildren, Jerry Kilgore, Jr. and wife Amanda, Terri Moyer, Amber Arnold and husband Bob, Sarah Carpenter, Kathy Shelburne and husband Clint, Jeff Kilgore and wife Stephanie, and John Kilgore; ten great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; brother, Bobbie Williams and wife Jeannie; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
