Dorothy Burgin Smith, 74, of Waco passed away, Friday, October 23, 2015. There will be no services at this time. Arrangements are under the direction of Pecan Grove Funeral Home.
Dorothy was born on July 22, 1941 to Floyd and Viola Burgin in Glenmora, Louisiana. She married Morris G. Smith on September 8, 1966.
Dorothy is survived by her husband of 49 years, Morris Smith; son, Lynn Anderson and wife Donna; daughters, Lisa Millsaps and husband Butch, Ruby Williams, and Ann Stigliano; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; two sisters; one brother; numerous brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, and nephews.
The family would like to thank Dr. Rosario, Dr. Schultz, and her many caregivers at Providence ICU for their kindness, devotion, and compassion. Memorials may be made to Providence Hospice at 6700 Sanger Ave., Waco, Texas 76710.
