Doris Beard

Doris Jean Beard, 85, of Waco passed peacefully from this Earth to Heaven on February 1, 2018 at Providence Hospital surrounded by her loving family. Graveside services will be Monday, February 5, 2018 at 1 PM at Waco Memorial Park, 6623 S.I35, Waco. The family will receive visitors from 3-5 PM, Sunday, February 4. 2018 at Pecan Grove Funeral Home, 3124 Robinson Dr., Waco.
Doris was born on July 31, 1932 to Harrel Sanford (Jack) and Emma Loyd in Summerville, Texas. She Married Bobby Gene Beard on November 23, 1950 and was a devoted and loving wife for 39 years until Bobby's sudden passing in 1989.
Doris was preceded to Heaven by her husband, her parents, her sister-in-law, Bonnie, and her dear friend, Margaret Harbour.
Survivors include her son, Jackie and Virginia Salsbury of Waco, her brother Harold (Sonny) Loyd of Hubbard, her sisters, Bobbie Nell Witherspoon and husband, PR, of Desoto, and Judy Lynn Machac and husband, Kenneth, of Bynum, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
