Dora Nichols

Dora Louise Nichols, 88, of Robinson, passed away on Friday, March 4, 2022. Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, March 8, 2022 at Waco Memorial Park Cemetery with Dr. Mark Miller officiating. The family will receive visitors from 6 to 8 p.m. on Monday, March 7, 2022 at Pecan Grove Funeral Home, 3124 N. Robinson Dr., Waco.

Dora was born on January 29, 1934 in Falls County, TX to Louise (Rogas) and Ernest Zettler. She later married Roy Nichols and they shared sixty-seven wonderful years together.

Dora enjoyed quilting, embroidering, gardening, cooking, traveling with her family, and also spending time at the farm.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Louise and Ernest Zettler; brother, Edwin Zettler; sister, Leona Koerth and brother-in-law, Johnnie, and sister, Gertrude Barkley.

She is survived by her husband, Roy Nichols; son, Jack Nichols and wife, Tamra; daughter, Melinda Moss and husband, Taylor; grandchildren, Stephanie Barrera and husband, Kevin, Tiffany Hogg and husband, Kyle, Michael Nichols, Amber Gustafson, and Beau Moss; nine great-grandchildren; and nephew, Darrell Zettler and wife, Kim, along with their two children, David Zettler and Sarah Zettler.
