Donnie Wyatt, 75, of Robinson, passed away Wednesday, May 22, 2013, in a local hospital. Graveside services will be 3 p.m. Saturday, May 25, at St. Mary's Cemetery in West. There is no scheduled visitation.
He was born on March 28, 1938, to LaVerne Wyatt in Moody. Donnie served in the U.S. Army. He was a truck driver by trade working for various trucking firms, Bayly Corp., J.M. Wood, Midway Transportation and Limestone Products, retiring in 1992. Donnie married Betty Svrcek on July 17, 1974. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Edd and Bertha Wyatt; and mother, LaVerne Wyatt Hurley.
Donnie is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Betty Wyatt; sons, Michael B. Wyatt and wife, Mistye, and Johnny W. Wyatt and wife, Cindy; granddaughter, McKenzye Lee Wyatt; step-grandsons, Chayson Bishnow and James Foreman; brother-in-law, Joe T. Svrcek and wife, Georgia; and sisters-in-law, Janice Vrana and husband, Harry, and JoAnn Lammert and husband, Donald. He is also survived by nieces and nephews and cousins.
Memorials may be made to Scott and White Hospice and West Rest Haven.
