Donna Bradburry passed away peacefully on Monday, September 25, 2017 at Providence Hospital. The family invites you to a Celebration of Life on Thursday,
Sept. 28th at Pecan Grove Funeral Home 3124 Robinson Dr, Waco. Visitation will begin at
12pm with services to follow at 1:00. Burial will be immediately afterward at Chapel Hill Memorial Park.
Donna was born June 25, 1954, to Truman(Sonny) and Virginia ‘Schaeper’ Bodiford in Waco, Texas. She attended Robinson High School and graduated in 1973, and then went on to MCC. Donna worked many years in childcare and her heart was filled with love for children. She looked forward to every opportunity to go Country Western dancing and spent lots of time talking on the phone with her friends. Donna loved getting her nails done, getting dressed up for costume contests at Ridgecrest, and going shopping to buy treats for herself, her nieces, and nephews. She was a member of St. John United Church of Christ in Robinson.
She is preceded in death by her father, Truman Bodiford, her son Michael Edward, and her nephew Brandon Bodiford.
She is survived by her mother, Virginia Bodiford; her sister Darlene Lewis & husband Ray; her brothers, Buddy Bodiford & wife Dee of Rossville, Georgia and Billy Bodiford & wife Sharon of Waco, along with several nieces and nephews, and many other family members and loved ones.
The family would like to thank everyone at Ridgecrest Retirement & Nursing Center, the staff at 4 East at Providence Hospital, & Providence Hospice for all the loving care they gave to Donna. Donations can be made to the American Alzheimer's Association.
Pallbearers are Ray Lewis, Cliff Emmons, Carson Emmons, Brian Tindle, Cody Tindle, and Randal Schaeper.
