Donald Ostrom

Donald Elmer Ostrom, 91, of China Spring, TX, passed away Tuesday, May 30, 2023. Graveside services will be 10:00 a.m., Friday, June 2, at Rosemound Cemetery, 3201 S 12th St, Waco, TX, with Shea Gutierrez officiating. Visitation will be from 5 – 7:00 pm., Thursday, June 1, at Pecan Grove Funeral Home.

Donald was born January 3, 1932, in Cleveland, OH to Carl Elmer and Delca (Wilson) Ostrom. He married Patsy Helen Koerth on June 1, 1957. They celebrated 64 wonderful years together before her passing in 2022. Donald worked at the US Post Office for 40 years; during that time, he also worked at Library Binding for 20 years. He enjoyed restoring old cars and could fix anything.

Donald was preceded in death by his wife, Patsy Ostrom; parents; and brothers, Carl Ostrom and Paul Ostrom.
He is survived by his children, Robin Lucas, and husband Mike; son, Ronnie Ostrom, and wife Teri; grandsons, Colton Lucas and Austin Hall; and brother, David Ostrom and wife Evonne.
