Donald Markum

Donald E. Markum, 82, of Robinson, passed away Sunday, May 8, 2016. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Friday, May 13, at Meadowbrook Baptist Church, 1207 N. Old Robinson Rd, Waco with Dr. Cary Killough officiating. Interment will follow at Waco Memorial Park. The family will receive visitors 5 – 7:00 p.m., Thursday, May 12, at Pecan Grove Funeral Home, 3124 Robinson Drive.

Donald was born April 7, 1934 in Eddy, TX to Tolbert and Emma Markum. He served in the U.S. Marines in the 50’s as a tank mechanic. He married the love of his life Jeannette Markum, April 26, 1958. He was a professional tinkerer, enjoyed watching NASCAR, fishing, but most of all spending time with his granddaughter Harper Rhese.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife Jeanette Markum and siblings.
He is survived by his daughter, Dena Markum and husband Jeff Houghlin; granddaughters, Harper Rhese, Alison and Kelly.
