Don Urbantke

Don Alan “Poppy” Urbantke, 70, of Lorena, passed away Wednesday, January 20, 2016. A memorial visitation will be 1-3pm, Saturday, January 23, at Pecan Grove Funeral Home, 3124 Robinson Drive, Waco.

Poppy was born November 6, 1945, in Waco, to Arthur and Opal Urbantke, who preceded him in death. He is survived by his daughters Lisa Urbantke and Donetta and Martin Rutkowski; his grandsons Nick Urbantke and Ryan, Jason, and Aaron Rutkowski; along with his ex-wife and friend Pat Boyd.

Poppy loved spending time with his family, friends, and baseball family. He especially loved spending time with his grandsons. He was deeply loved and will be greatly missed.
