Don K. Pilant, 81, of Robinson passed away Friday, September 9, 2022. He was born December 3, 1940 in Clifton, Texas to Rueal Kermit and Robbie Lee (Faulkner) Pilant. Don graduated from Connally High School in 1959 and entered the United States Air Force later that year, where he proudly served for 4 years. He started his own machine shop (Custom Molds & Tools) in 1979 and retired in 1995, however, the shop is still in business under the guidance of his daughter Donna. He married his sweetheart Willie Mae Fulton in July of 1963 and recently celebrated 59 years of marriage.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Martha Howard; and brother, Richard (Ricky) Pilant.
Don is survived by his wife, Willie; daughter, Donna and family friend Terri Schronk; son, Tom and wife Sha; three granddaughters, Christin Pilant and her children Payton and Jameson, Bethany Mullens and husband Josh, their children Torrin and Ronan, Amanda and husband Jessie Prather, their daughter Ember; sisters-in-law, Kitty Adams and husband Larry, June Putman and husband Steve, Lynn Bethany and husband Rick, Sue Abney and husband John, Lori Dold and husband Jene; longtime friends, Charles and Mary K. Frazier; he also had two step-granddaughters, Chelsea Prox, her children Jayce and Kayde, Paige Campbell, her children Aubri, Harper, and Tripp; along with numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
