Dolores Resendez

Dolores Resendez 59, of Waco, passed away at her home, Saturday, January 4, 2014. Services will be 1 pm, Thursday January 9, 2014, at Pecan Grove Funeral Home 3124 Robinson with Rev. Moses Resendez officiating. Burial will follow at Chapel Hill Cemetery. The family will receive visitors from 6-8 pm Wednesday at the funeral home.
Dolores was born November 2, 1954 in McLennan County to Domingo and Helen Chavez. Dolores spent her years in the health care, where her big heart and love of helping people shined through. She was a devoted to the Pentecostal faith and a member of Templo La Hermosa Iglesia. She was a loving wife and mother and will be deeply missed.
She is survived by her husband of 41 years, Clemente Resendez; daughter, Christina Resendez-DeGrate; son, Yule Resendez; 4 sisters and 2 brothers; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and extended family.
