Diane Parker Moon, 67, of Waco, went home to be with our Heavenly Father on Tuesday, May 9, 2023. Visitation will be 6 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 17 at Pecan Grove Funeral Home, 3124 Robinson Dr., Waco. The family will have a private graveside service.
Diane was born December 28, 1955, to Weldon and Rose (Lawson) Parker in Waco, Texas. In 1992, she met the love of her life, David Moon, and they wed on April 18, 1993, in Hewitt and were blessed with 30 amazing years together. She loved spending her evenings riding around D&D Ranch with her husband taking in the beautiful scenery of God’s creation and caring for their many animals. Diane is already so terribly missed as she was the pilar of her family. Her grandchildren could always look in the stands and see their Grammy sitting there cheering them on in whatever they were participating in. Diane loved hearing of all the new adventures that her son, daughter-in-law, and grandson were taking. Her family was her everything and anyone who knew her knew that she was proud. She spent the last 39 years working for Pattillo, Brown, and Hill as a flexible benefits administrator ensuring she did her best to take good care of her clients.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband, David Moon; son, Jeremy Robinson, and wife Sandy of The Grove; daughter, Tessa Jamerson, and husband Freddy of China Spring; grandson, Cody Robinson; granddaughters, Brianna, Myah, Brooklyn, and Saylor Jamerson; Sister, Janice Rinewalt, and husband Larry of Hewitt; along with numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
Honorary bearers will be Jeremy Robinson, Freddy Jamerson, Cody Robinson, Larry Rinewalt, Jason Rinewalt, Jeff Rinewalt, Troy Parker.
The family requests that donations be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, in lieu of flowers, as she always donated to help in any way she could.
