Diana Kay Davis, 54, of Waco, passed away suddenly, July 25, 2014, while attending a Veterans Western Educational Regional Training Conference in Irving, TX. Services will be 10 am, Saturday, August 9, at Pecan Grove Funeral Home 3124 Robinson Dr., with Pastor David Cozart officiating. Burial to follow at Waco Memorial Park. The family will receive visitors, Friday, August 8, from 6-9 pm at the funeral home.
Diana was born, May 8, 1960, in Waco, to Arvil Ray Davis and Mary Annalle Davis. She was a 1978 Graduate of University High. She was employed by the Waco VA Regional Office from 1992 to 2014. Diana loved her family, her cat Amber, her VA Co-Workers and Avon Customers.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Brenda Kyle.
She is survived by her brother, George W. Davis and wife, Connie; brother-in-law, Joseph Kyle; nephews, Michael W. Davis and wife, Laura, Mark Davis and wife, Brandi, and Mikel Kyle and wife, Leslie and nieces, Kim Brace and husband, John and Laura Kyle; 8 great-nephews and six great-nieces. Pallbearers will be, Michael Davis, Mark Davis, Mikel Kyle, John Mathew ’Matt’ Brace, Joshua Brace and Justin Brace. Honorary Pallbearers will be, Dayde Davis and Walker Davis.
If desired, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Diana’s name may be made to Fuzzy Friends Rescue of Waco or the Humane Society of Central Texas.
