Dee Tuley, 60, of Robinson, passed away at Wesley Woods Alzheimer’s Care Center on Thursday, August 29, 2013, from a battle with cancer. Services will be at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, September 2nd at Victorious Life Church, 7459 South IH35 Waco, Texas 76706, with Pastor Kevin Harrison officiating. Burial will follow at Robinson Cemetery. The family will receive visitors from 6 pm to 8 pm Sunday at Pecan Grove Funeral Home 3124 Robinson Dr.
Dee was born December 17, 1952 in Kermit, TX to Wayne Henson and Bernice Gillespie Henson. She graduated from Ardmore, OK High School in 1971. She entered the U.S. Air Force in August 1971 and was discharged honorably in September 1973. She married Terry Tuley August 29, 1975. She attended Mt. View Community college in Dallas and earned her associates degree in business. She worked for the Dallas County Community College district from 1974 to 1984. In 1984 her and her family moved to Waco, TX where she worked for the Tribune Herald as purchasing director until July 2002. She was an active member of Victorious Life Church. She loved going to the beach with her family and friends. She loved her Jack Russell Terrier “Minnie”.
She was preceded in death by her father Wayne Henson, her mother Bernice Henson and her brother Ronald Wayne Henson.
She is survived by her husband Terry Tuley, her daughters Jenni Kent and husband Bryan of Robinson, Kerri Boen of Hewitt, Chrissy Brault and husband Nick of Robinson; her grandchildren Kenly, Karli, Cooper, Bryce, Carter, Caleb and Colton; and her sister Carol Ardis of Austin, Texas.
