David Barry Hamlin

David B Hamlin, age 82, of Waco passed away on Saturday, January 25, 2025.

David was born in Waco, TX on September 27, 1942 to Joseph Charles Hamlin and Helen Mae Wittman. He proudly served in the United States Marine Corps from 1963-1969. David married Darlene Vrba at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Waco on June 27, 1970. He worked for a total of 33 years in microbiology at Hillcrest Hospital in Waco before retiring in 2008.

David is preceded in death by his mother, Helen Hamlin and father, Joseph Hamlin.

Left to cherish David’s memory are his wife Darlene Hamlin, their son, Brian Hamlin with wife, Roxanne and three grandchildren: Cason, Rylee Eve and Hunter. He will also be greatly missed by older brother, Delane Hamlin and family and younger brother, Richard Hamlin and family and numerous other family members.
