David F. Feind, 66, of Rosenthal, passed away Saturday, Jan. 30, 2016. Visitation will be Tuesday, Feb. 2, at Pecan Grove Funeral Home, 3124 Robinson Drive, Waco, from 6 – 8:00 p.m. Services will be held at First Baptist Church of Chilton, 200 Durgano Street, Chilton, Wednesday, February 3, at 1:00pm. Burial will follow at Cego Cemetery.
David was born October 17, 1949, to Wilfred and Berniece (Becker) Feind in Marlin, and was raised in the small community of Cego. He was a graduate of Chilton High School and TSTC, with a degree in auto mechanics. He worked over 30 years at Crankshaft and Valve. His favorite pastime was hunting, and in recent years he looked forward more to the fellowship around the campfire with his hunting buddies than a big buck. He was preceded in death by his parents.
David is survived by his children, Shanda Feind and David M. Feind and wife Jessica; his brother Richard Feind; grandchildren Jaylee Jackson and Garrett Feind; nephew Adam Feind and wife Ann; niece Annette Shepherd and husband Chris; many beloved favorite aunts and cousins; ex-wife and friend Kenda Meek; and his lifelong friends the Herringtons.
