David H. Dockery, 77, of Robinson, passed away Saturday, December 19, 2015. A graveside service will be held at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, December 23, at Rosemound Cemetery, with Pastor Keith Patterson officiating. A visitation with family will be from 6 – 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, Dec. 22, at Pecan Grove Funeral Home, in Robinson.
David was born June 21, 1938, in Henderson County to S.Q. and Jocelyn Dockery. David graduated from Waco High School in 1956. He worked over 21 years at CTIW and was co-owner of Harvey Public Records until his retirement in 2005. David was a kind and gentle man who loved studying the Bible and spending time with his family. He was preceded in death by his parents.
David is survived by his wife of 57 years, Darlene Dockery; daughter Denise Morgan and husband Kenny; sisters Sharla Woodruff and husband Eugene, and Deborah Kay Hail and husband Dennis; grandsons Kris Morgan and wife Ravon, and Kory Morgan and wife Katie; granddaughter Kaci Blanton and husband Justin; great-grandchildren Ty, Tobin, Tanner, Kash, Kolton, and Wyatt; along with several nieces and nephews.
