David Brunson

David (Carlton) Brunson, 56, of Lott, passed away Sunday October 28, 2018. Funeral services will be held 10am Friday, November 2, at Pecan Grove Funeral Home, 3124 Robinson Dr. Waco. Burial will follow at Robinson Cemetery. The family will receive visitors from 6-8 pm Thursday, November 1, at the funeral home.
Carlton was born May 28, 1962 to David Lee and Barbara Ammons Brunson. He retired after 24 years from Holtcat. Carlton loved to spend any free time dirt track racing and could always be found at HOT Speedway or Kennedale Speedway. Above all, he loved his family, and was a wonderful father and grandfather. Carlton was a hardworking man who never met a stranger.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Carlton is survived by his wife, Lisa Brunson; children, Brandon Brunson and wife Jennifer, Jason Brunson, Bubba Brunson, and Casey Brunson; step-children, Courtney Kimball, Joshua Kimball and wife Breanna; sisters, Patti Lenart and husband John, and Melonie Mullins; grandchildren, Abigail Wright, Gunner Kimball, Addaline Kimball, and Hailee Howard; nieces and nephews, Jon-Erik Lenart and wife Britney, Rachel McCurlie and husband Aaron, Cody Mullins, Kelly Mullins, Patrick Mullins, and Haley Mullins, as well as extended family and friends.
Pallbearers will be Bubba Brunson, Joshua Kimball, Jon-Erik Lenart, John Lenart, Brandon Brunson, Jason Brunson, Cody Mullins, and Patrick Mullins.
