David Ray Alanis, 49, of Waco, went to be with his Heavenly Father, Sunday, April 23, 2017. The family will receive visitors, Friday, April 28, 2017 at Calvary Chapel, 702 N 18th St, Waco, from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Services will start at 11 a.m. with Pastor Albert Fuentes officiating.
David Ray Alanis "Roosta" born on July 12, 1967 went to be with the Lord and savior April 23, 2017. David served in the Army for 12 years and served in the Gulf War. He was a loving devoted father and grandfather. He is survived by two sons, Cody Ray Alanis and wife Tera, Austin Wayne Alanis, and daughter Bonnie Rose Alanis; four granddaughters, Lillie, Emmalyn, Renesmiegh, Adeline, and two grandsons, Carter and Waylon whom he looked forward to teaching them the nuances of playing baseball; brother Donnie Alanis, sisters, Doris Alanis and Deanna Boswell, and mother, Donna Scott.
He is preceded in death by his father Hank Colyer and nephew Cooper Lane Alanis.
