Darrell Neumann

Darrell Glenn Neumann, 52, of Oglesby, passed away Monday, February 16, 2015 at a local hospital. Funeral services for Darrell will be 10 am Thursday, February 19 at Pecan Grove Funeral Home, 3124 Robinson Dr., Waco with burial to follow at Riesel Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday, February 18 from 6-8 pm at the funeral home.
Darrell was born November 5, 1962 in Temple, TX to Alvin, Jr. and Lynette (Boeche) Neumann. He graduated from C.E. Ellison High School in Killeen in 1981. Darrell was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran church. In 1984 he married Sharon Elaine Ritter and they had 2 sons, Travis and Cody. They were together for 20 years. In 2007 he married Catherine Neumann and became the father of her 2 daughters, BriAnn and I’Liea. Currently, Darrell was employed with Forest River Manufacturing where he was a forklift operator. Darrell will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. Darrell was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Louis and Minnie Boeche of Bellmead; paternal grandparents, Alvin and Emma Neumann of Riesel and uncle, Jimmy Boeche.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory his parents, Alvin E. Jr. and Lynette Neumann; wife, Catherine Neumann; children, Travis Wayne Neumann, Cody Alan Neumann, BriAnn Gatlin and I’Liea Bowden; brother, Duane Neumann; sisters, Cheryl Tyler and Denise Neumann as well as several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and special friends.
Pallbearers will be Justin Wasden, Travis Neumann, Cody Neumann, Dwayne Lisenbee, Johnny Gomaz and Charles Raily. Honorary pallbearers include Alvin E. Neumann, Jr., Duane Neumann, Robert Lewellen, Brian Tyler and Robert Ritter.
