Darrel McCaig

Darrel Ray McCaig, 67, passed away on Saturday, March 25, 2023. Funeral services will be 1:00 pm, Monday, April 3rd, at Pecan Grove Funeral Home, 3124 Robinson Drive, Waco, with Josh Miller officiating. The family will receive visitors 30 minutes prior to the service beginning at 12:30.
Darrel was born July 2, 1955, in Waco, TX, to Marvin and Doris McCaig. He married the love of his life, Marcie (Saulters) McCaig on May 4, 1971, living in Waco their entire marriage where they raised 5 daughters.
Darrel was preceded in death by his father Marvin McCaig, mother Doris McBride, beloved brother Wayne McCaig, and treasured grandson Jonathan Rogers.
He is survived by his loving wife of 51 years Marcie McCaig; daughters Melissa McCaig, Bethany Lankford and husband Tim, Paula Henderson and husband Matthew, Marty McCaig, Lindsey Packett and husband David; sisters Jessie Duhon, and Becky Rich; brothers Neal, William, and Lloyd McCaig. He leaves behind 12 grandchildren: Alex, Hannah, Josh, Luke, Samuel, Madeline, Jordan, Erin, Philip, Maxwell, Lucy, and Jaxen; great-grand-daughters, Allie, and Adelyn (due in June).
