Daniel Jackson Daywitt “THE BOSS”, 58, returned to his heavenly home on February 28, 2018 after a valiant battle with a long illness. His devotion to his family and his firm belief in God supported him in his struggle and ultimately gave him peace.
Danny was born to Robert Keith and Glenda Daywitt, a Pentecostal pastor and a homemaker respectively, in Cleburne, TX on May 6, 1959.
Danny was blessed with a large and loving family. He married Debra Lynn Donaldson on February 25, 1997 in Waco, TX celebrating 21 years of marriage. They had 3 beautiful children, Dylan Ray Daywitt, Daniel Travis Daywitt and Emily Ann Daywitt.
Danny was a builder and a construction manager. He was a wonderful husband and a great dad. He was kind, fun loving and always had a positive outlook. Danny was a very warm and loving person with a great big heart to serve God and help others. He will be dearly missed by his wife and children, grandkids, mother, brothers, cousins, aunts, uncles and a multitude of nieces and nephews.
Danny is survived by his wife, Debra; his sons Dylan and Travis; his daughter, Emily Ann; his grandchildren Gracelynn Ray and Harrison James; and his brothers, Stephen and Timothy Daywitt; his mother Glenda Daywitt; his cousin Patricia J Daywitt. He is preceded in death by his father, Robert Keith Daywitt.
Danny will be buried at the Stanford Chapel Cemetery after his service at Pecan Grove Funeral Home, March 3, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. with a reception to follow at Apostolic Tabernacle of Waco in China Spring, TX. Reverend Timothy Daywitt, Reverend Eugene Arnold and Reverend Stephen Daywitt will officiate the service. The family gratefully appreciates all prayers and condolences.
