Cynthia Annette (Cindie) Rosas, 60, of Waco, TX, left this world while sleeping peacefully in her home, after a long and courageous battle with cancer.
Cindie was born in Waco to Margaret and Salome Rosas, the third of four children. She graduated from University High School in 1979 and TSTC in 1981. She had a long career in retail management at Mervyns, Dress Barn, and Office Depot, where she made many lifelong friends.
Cindie had a smile that would light up the room. Friendly and filled with laughter, she was always the most fun person at any party. She loved music and dancing. She also enjoyed creating art, arranging flowers, and spending time with her family. She was a loving mama to many beloved fur babies over the years, as well as a second mom to numerous treasured nieces and nephews. When in her presence, you always felt loved.
Cindie was preceded in death by her parents, Margaret and Salome. Both she and her mother passed away the Thursday before Mother’s Day, 21 years apart.
She is survived by her partner, Alan Cross, her sister, Dolores England and husband Charles, her brother, Eddie Rosas and wife Jody, and sister, Minerva Rosas. Many nieces, nephews, and friends are also left to cherish her memories.
A public celebration of her life will be announced at a later date.
