Curtis Ray Combs

Curtis Ray Combs, 70, left this world on March 13, 2024 surrounded by his loving family.  Curtis was born on December 13, 1953 to Burtis Junior and Allene Louise “Janie” Combs in Waco, Texas.    Visitation will be Thursday, March 21, 2024 from 6-8 PM at Pecan Grove Funeral Home, 3124 N. Robinson Drive, Waco, Texas.  A Celebration of Life will be on Friday, March 22, 2024 at 11 AM at the funeral home.  

Curtis loved bowling and was an active league bowler for many years.  As an avid sports fan, he would be found rooting on the Dallas Cowboys, Dallas Stars, Texas Rangers and pretty much any Texas based professional team.   Curtis was always the life of the party and loved to pull jokes on people.  You never knew what to expect.  He loved his family with all his heart and highly valued friendships.  

Curtis is preceded in death by his father, his daughter Staci Combs, many uncles, and other relatives.   He was survived by his mother, who passed away one day after Curtis.  He is survived by his daughters, Ashley Combs and Mycha Combs, sister, Lisa Edwards and husband Jimmy, nephews Devin Edwards and Trea Edwards, and his girlfriend Janet Faulkner.
