Corinne Garrett

June 23, 1936 — January 26, 2015

Anna Corinne Garrett 78, of Robinson passed away, Monday, January 26, 2015. A graveside service will be held 10 am, Friday, January 30, at Chapel Hill Memorial Park, with Pastor Don Washek Officiating. The family will receive visitors, Thursday, January 29, from 6-8 pm, at Pecan Grove Funeral Home 3124 Robinson Dr.
Corinne was born June 23, 1936, in Robinson TX, to John and Minnie (Henson) Garrett. She was raised in Robinson and attended Waco Tech. Early in life she worked for International Paper Company, until it closed its doors. She then started working at Cogdell’s Auto Supply. When M&M Mars opened its doors in 70’s, she was one of the first employees and retired with them after many years of service. She was an excellent fisherman, loved cooking for her family, but most of all spending time with her grandchildren. She was a loving mother, and grandmother and will be dearly missed.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sons, Tommy Wayne Haigood and Randall Shea Stockton; brother, John Edward Garrett.
She is survived by her daughter, Gail Lynch and husband, Donnie; grandchildren, Melanie and Jerry Whitt; great-grandchildren, Jonathon Davis, Monika Allen and husband, Jason, Matthew Davis and Mattie Whitt; great-great-grandchildren, Brooklin and Brinlee; sister, Joyce Cotton and husband Earl; her beloved pet Susie.
The family would like to thank, the nursing staff at Providence Hospital 4 East, and Providence Hospice. A special thank you to Dr. Michael Stones for his many years of caring for Corrine and Royal Manor Health Center for their kind and compassionate care.
