Cora Gabriel

Cora Gabriel, 89, of Waco went to be with her Lord Monday, August 3, 2015. Funeral services will be held 1pm Thursday, August 6th at Pecan Grove Funeral Home with Pastor Wayne Blackshear officiating. Burial will follow at Waco Memorial Park. The family will receive visitors Wednesday evening August 5th from 6-8 at Pecan Grove Funeral Home 3124 Robinson Drive, Waco.

Cora was born September 22, 1925 in Lott, Texas to Tommy and Nan Barganier. She married Herman C. Gabriel June 2, 1945. Cora was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church. Her life was centered around her Savior, church, and her family.

Cora was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Herman C. Gabriel; a son, Waylon Gabriel; brother, Tommy Barganier, Jr.; and sister, Nora Smith.

Survivors include her children, Glenn Gabriel and wife Valorie of Hot Springs Village, AR, Janis Jackson and husband Dayne of Lorena, Mike Gabriel of Waco; grandchildren, Chris, Amanda, Tiffany, Janna, Eric, Josh; six great grandchildren; brother, Delaney Barganier; sisters, Barbara Yarbrough and Joyce Seibert.
