Consuelo Torres

Consuelo M. Torres (Connie), age 76, of Waco passed away peacefully on Monday, May 9, 2016. A graveside service will be held at 10 am, Tuesday, May 17 at Waco Memorial Park, 6623 S. Interstate 35. The family will gather at the cemetery at 9:30 am for a short viewing prior to service.

Consuelo was born January 20, 1940 to Juan Medrano and Aurelia Alvarez in Abilene, Texas. Connie was loved by many people she met along the way. She retired from Mission Industries with 25 years of service.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Joaquin T. Jimenez; sons, Gabriel and Rene Medina; sister, Janie Medrano; brothers, Juan Ramon Medrano, Arcadio and Richard Ortiz.

Connie is survived by her husband of 21 years, Mike Torres; daughters, Angela Dunner, Ruth Arias and husband Ray of Waco, Donna Chacon and husband Carlos, Lupe Ryba and husband Art of Abilene; sons, Bo Medina of Waco, Johnny Carrillo of Abilene; sisters, Elena Hernandez and Anna Lara of Abilene, Sylvia Gonzales of Fort Worth; brothers, Johnny Lopez of Abilene and Bobby Medrano of San Angelo; 13 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren; along with numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
