Randy was born November 2, 1998, in Waco, TX, to Rosalio and Maricela Del Castillo Mendez. Randy was a lovely and kind individual. He loved his friends and many can attest not just to his kindness, but also the laughter and joy that he brought to them. Although, quiet at first, Randy eventually let others see his true colors. “Silent, but deadly” is the perfect way to describe Randy. He was never afraid to roast a person around. He loved blasting his favorite artists such as Travis Scott, Kanye West, Don Toliver, and Bad Bunny to name a few. Randy loved to skateboard, so much so that he even attempted to teach the barbers he worked with how to skate. There were many laughs that day at Kingz Barbershop. Randy’s passion was barbering. He spent most of his time at Kingz Barbershop alongside his brother, Cristian Mendez. Not only was Randy a wonderful son and brother to his parents and brothers, he was also a loving and caring father to his two boys, Mateo and David. He will be dearly missed. We love you King.
Randy was preceded in death by grandparents Fidel Del Castillo, Serafina Castro, uncle, Heraclio Del Castillo, and best friend Elmer Servin.
He is survived by his parents; brothers, Edgar Mendez and wife Selene, Cristian Mendez and wife Vanessa, Rosalio and wife Selene, and Michael Mendez; sons, Mateo Michael Mendez and David Allen Carpenter-Mendez; nieces and nephews, Adan, Aulora, Jimmy, Fabricio, Vianney, Cristiano, and Camilo.
Pallbearers will be Anthony, Isaiah, Benjamin, Michael, Edgar, Rosalio, Cristian and his brothers from Kingz Barber Shop.
