Cindy Dennard

Cindy Sue Dennard, 64, of Axtell, TX passed away on Thursday, October 20, 2022. A memorial of her life will be 5 – 7:oo PM on Saturday, October 29 at Pecan Grove Funeral Home, 3124 Robinson Dr., Waco, TX.
Cindy was born on October 31, 1957 in LaCrosse, WI to Donald Melcher and Shirley Baker. Cindy joined the Army at the age of 18. After serving her country, she settled down and had 3 children from her first marriage. In 1983 Cindy met the love of her life, her husband Chelsey Dennard. Cindy went back to college, earning her Doctorate in Human Resources. She continued to work until she couldn’t work anymore. Her biggest accomplishment was becoming an amazing grandmother to her 9 grandchildren who she loved so much.
Cindy was preceded in death by her parents and 3 of her siblings.
She is survived by her husband, Chesley Dennard; daughters, Amanda Leka and husband Jimmy; Sabrina Ferrell; bonus daughter, Heather Mai; best friend/sister, Tammie Gilmer; brother Dennis Baker; plus her grandchildren and many more family members.
