Christopher Collins

Christopher Wayne “AKA 40” Collins, 43, of McGregor, TX, passed away on Thursday, February 4, 2021. Visitation will be from 6 – 8:00 p.m., Monday, February 8, 2021 at Pecan Grove Funeral Home, 3124 Robinson Drive, Waco.
Chris was born in Waco, TX, to Kenneth and Cherie Collins. He grew up in Robinson, TX and graduated from Robinson High School in 1996. Chris married the love of his life, Amanda Bennett, in 2006. He worked at HEB on the corporate level as a quality assurance inspector and was an active member of the McGregor VFD. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting with his two sons, who were his world.
Chris is survived by his wife, Amanda Collins; his two sons, Daniel and Cooper; his parents, Kenneth and Cherie Collins; sisters, Kelly Ruby and husband Ed, and Shelly Hill and husband Ashley; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
