Christine Ramsey

Christine Nevarez Ramsey, 57, of Waco, passed away at St. Catherine’s on Saturday, September 5, 2015. Funeral services will be held 10am Wednesday, September 9 at Pecan Grove Funeral Home, 3124 Robinson Drive, Waco, with Manuel Diaz officiating. Interment will follow at Waco Memorial Park. The family will receive visitors Tuesday, September 8 from 6-8pm at the funeral home.
Christine was born October 10, 1957 in Monterrey, Mexico to Fernando Reyes Nevarez and Maria Delaluz Martinez Nevarez. She attended Waco schools and later moved to Mexia, Texas with her husband, Don Ramsey, who preceded her in death in 2000. Christine worked at various jobs, with the latest in the restoration companies until her illness.
Christine is survived by her sons, Christopher Ramsey of Prairie Hill, Texas, Jerry Don Ramsey, and Donnie Kemp of Waco; brothers, Frank Nevarez, Manuel Nevarez, Joe Nevarez of Waco; sister, Maria Perez of Louisiana, Grandsons, Colt and Caydon Ramsey; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Christine is preceded in death by her parents, Fernando Reyes Nevarez and Maria Delaluz Martinez Nevarez; brothers, Patricio Nevarez, Freddy Nevarez, Richard Nevarez; and husband, Don Ramsey.
The family would like to thank Providence Hospital and St. Catherine’s for their care of our loved one during her illness.
