Charles Tubb

Charlie Tubb, 68, of Waco, died Monday, October 29, 2018. Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 PM Friday, November 2nd, 2018 at the Pecan Grove Funeral Home with Glenn Hammock, pastor, officiating. Interment will follow at Robinson Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Thursday, November 1st, 2018 at the funeral home.
He was born January 6th, 1950 in Big Spring, Texas and married Beverly Dupree January 21, 1978 in Midland, Texas. Charlie graduated Big Spring High School in 1968. Later he joined the Navy in 1973 and served as a Data Processing Technician Petty Officer 3rd Class. After serving in Navy he went to work for the Post Office on September 9th, 1977, where he met his wife of 40 years.
Charlie was a wonderful husband, dad and pawpaw. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, fishing, and being on the lake.
Survivors include his wife, Beverly Tubb of Waco TX; two children, Marla Burns and husband, Brian of Goldthwaite, TX, and Zach Tubb and wife, Suzy of Flowood, MS; three grandchildren, Cheyenne Aleman, Charlie Tubb and Hugh Tubb; one sister, Karen Rodman, of Big Spring, TX, one brother, David Tubb and wife, Cindy, of Big Spring, TX, and mother Jeary Tubb Big Spring, TX; and many beloved cousins, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father Roy Tubb.
