Charles Sumner Thayer, 69, of Waco, passed away Friday, May 8, 2015. A Service of Remembrance will be held Saturday, May 16 at 1 pm at Pecan Grove Funeral Home, 3124 Robinson Dr. in Waco.
Charles was born June 17, 1945 in Milford, Massachusetts to Ernest and Mary Thayer. He served his country in the US Army. On October 23, 1987 he married Barbara Wade.
He is preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Eleanor Wanner. Charles leaves behind to cherish his memory his beloved wife, Barbara; children, Shelley Wyatt and Rick Reid; grandchildren, Jojo Garza, Jacob Garza, Emily Reid and Tyler Reid; sister, Marlene Bolinger; and brother, Ernest Thayer.
