Charles Wayne Richard

Charles Wayne Richard, born on March 21, 1952, in Albuquerque, New Mexico, peacefully passed on March 20, 2024. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, March 26, at Holy Spirit Episcopal Church, 1624 Wooded Acres Dr, Waco, TX. Visitation will be from 6 – 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 25, at Pecan Grove Funeral Home.

At the age of three, he moved to Waco, Texas. His educational pursuits consisted of graduating from University High School, class of ’71, MCC, Baylor University, Texas State, and the Dallas School of Mortuary. After years of an academic journey, Charles settled down to then retire from Trane after 20 years of dedication. Beyond his professional endeavors, Charles had a warm smile and kind heart that touched the lives of many. A devoted husband, father, and grandfather, he treasured every moment shared with those he held dear.

He is survived by his wife Nyla Richard, daughter Courtney, stepson's Todd and Jason, and his grandchildren Shannon, Meghan, and Kevin.
