Charles Hicks

Charles Ray Hicks, Jr. was born November 18, 1969 in Waco, TX, to Charles “Big Chuck” Sr. and Glenda Hicks. He was called home on January 12, 2020, at 2:45 a.m.
“Little Chuck” as many knew him, always had something up his sleeve and plenty to say. He loved serving his community during his time in law enforcement, hunting, cracking jokes and being with his children.
Little Chuck was preceded in death by his parents, Big Chuck and Glenda. He will continue on in the hearts of his son, Charles Ray Hicks, III and daughter Alyssa Mortimer; sisters, Mona and Niiki, along with countless friends and loved ones.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 14, from 10:30 – 11:30 a.m., at Pecan Grove Funeral Home. A graveside service will follow at Robinson Cemetery, beginning at 12:30 p.m.
The family would like to give a special thanks to the staff at Providence Hospital for the care provided during his time there. We couldn’t have done this without the constant support from our dad’s best friends, Tim and Teri Holtkamp.
