Charles Helms

Charles Wesley Helms Sr., 40, of Waco passed away Tuesday, Apr. 29. Funeral services will 2:00 p.m. Saturday, May 3, at Pecan Grove F.H. 3124 Robinson Dr. with Rev. Lee Farmer officiating. Burial will follow at Waco Memorial Park.

Charles was born June 1, 1973 in Henderson , Tx, to Leslie Howard and Diane Helms. Charles worked for Clayton Homes in Waco. Played semi-pro football and loved the Dallas Cowboys.

Preceded in death by son Charles Wesley ( C.J. ) Helms Jr.

Survived by the mother of his children Tarisma K. Lehto Helms; his children J.T. Helms and Kasey Mechelle Helms; mother; Diane Helms of Dallas, father; Leslie Howard of East, Tx. sisters; Christy Solomon of Dallas, Kimberly Lacy and husband Mark of Dallas, Leslie Jolivet of Houston, brothers; Alfonso Howard of Houston, Brandon Jones of Washington D.C. nieces; Brittany Lacy of Dallas, Annelesia Solomon of Dallas, Keshay Solomon Barrett and husband Donovan of Atlanta,Ga. Nephews Mark Lacy Jr. and Devon Lacy, and a host of cousins and aunts.
