Ced Burrell

Cedric Maurice Burrell died unexpectedly, called home by God on Sunday afternoon October 12, 2014 at the age of 36.
Funeral services for Ced will be 12:00 p.m., Saturday October 18, 2014, at Christian Life Church of Waco, 3015 Robinson Drive, Waco. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery with Pastor Robert Nelson officiating. The family will receive visitors 6 – 8:00 p.m., Friday, October 17, 2014, at Pecan Grove Funeral Home, 3124 Robinson Drive, Waco.
Cedric is survived by his wife Joanna Howdeshell-Burrell of Robinson, Texas and their two daughters Kelle and Kristina whom he loved dearly. Mother Stephanie Carter & Step-father Kenneth R. Carter Sr. of Hewitt Texas; Sister Andrea Burrell and Step-sister Merica Carter; Step-brother Kenneth R. Carter Jr.; half- brother Richard Blue and half-sisters Niesha and Wilonda Blue, Grandfather James Smith Sr. & Step-Grandmother Della Smith of Virginia; Grandmother Brenda A. Brown (deceased); Aunt Valerie Carver (Glenn Carver) of Maryland; Aunt Lisa Smith (deceased); Aunt Kimberly Smith of Virginia, Uncles James Smith Jr. of D.C. and Sean Smith of Virginia; and a host of cousins.
Cedric was born on March 2, 1978 in Brooklyn New York and graduated from Temple High School in Temple, Texas. He married his lovely wife in 2007 and is a devoted husband and father. He is a devoted member of Christian Life Church and was involved in many community activities. He loved God and lived his life sharing God’s Word with anyone wherever he went. He believed in prayer. He had a wonderful, child-like sense of humor, a beautiful smile, and a pure heart. He leaves the world a legacy of love.
Although our hearts are broken, we rejoice knowing Cedric is with our Lord Jesus Christ
