Carl Key

Carl Edward Key of Moody died Wednesday morning, July 22, 2015 at, at the age of 75. Private services will be held at a later date with inurnment in Buckhorn Cemetery near Moody.
Mr. Key was born December 14, 1939, in Bell County, Texas, the son of the late Jim Ed Thomas and Lona Mae (Holder) Key. He began his education at The Grove School and Graduated from Moody High School. On April 4, 1959, he married Jessie Lanell Glass at St. Paul Lutheran Church in The Grove, Texas. For thirty-nine and a half years, American Desk employed him as a draftsman until they closed. He retired in 2005 from Royal Seating in Cameron as an educational furniture manufacturer.
Also preceding him in death were two brothers, John Key, Jimmy Key and a sister, Mary Reeves.
Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Jessie Key; a son Kermit Key and wife Rebecca; two daughters, Kathy Rejcek and husband Dennis, Karen Key; a brother, Kenneth Key; two sisters, Virginia Dean, Eva Joe Hicks; seven grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
