Carl Aston

Carl A. Aston Sr., 66, of Clifton went to be with the Lord on Friday, January 8, 2016. A memorial visitation will be held Tuesday, January 12 from 5 – 7p.m. at Pecan Grove Funeral Home, 3124 Robinson Drive, Waco. Memorial service will be at 2 pm, Wed. January 13 at Christian Life Church, 3015 Robinson Drive, Waco.
Carl enjoyed the outdoors. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He loved his family, friends, barbeques, and a nice cold beer. Carl was a devoted family man, in whom he also cared for his disabled wife, and loving caretaker for his minor grandson, Tyler Aston, he loved so very much. He was the life of the party and loved cracking jokes. He is loved by so many and missed by all.
Carl is preceded in death by his parents, Bennie and Myrtle Aston; first son, Bennie Ray Aston; and sister, Patsy West Merrel.
Carl is survived by his high school sweetheart of 48 years, Deborah S. Aston; sons, Carl A. Aston III, Curtis L. Aston; brother and best friend, David W. Aston; five grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.
